Texas may be a long time in coming ... Romney won by over 1.2 million votes. Cruz won the Senate (with lower Latino support than John Croyn got the previous election) by an even larger margin. The reality is that the gerrymandering in Texas is so ridiculous that only one House seat was decided by less than 5 points (defeating incumbent Republican Canseco) and one more that was less than 10 points ... all the rest were solid margins.
Instead, I would look at North Carolina ... big pick-up in a small state ... and that will be necessary for Senator Hagen to hold onto her seat in 2014.
