The Daily Show makes some good suggestions, borrowing from the Aussies

They have it all, down under, right down to their stupid woman who gets the facts wrong, like our Palin and Bachmann candidates. The difference is that in the land down under they don't prevent people from voting, they require the to do so, and they don't waste nearly as much time on the silly and stupid aspects of politics, by reducing the coverage of it with a shorter campaign.

Oh, the other thing they do better is they do NOT elect their stupid power hungry women who are wildly fact averse.  We could only do better by emulating THAT example.
