Palestinian Christians held palm branches during a Palm Sunday mass at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighbourhood, while Israeli drones buzzed in the background.
Members of this parish have been taking refuge for months in the parish
compound along with other displaced Christians, totalling about 600, who
have lost everything in the bombings. The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem accused the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) of murdering two women at the Holy Family Catholic Parish in Gaza and firing on a convent in a Dec. 16 statement.
