Faith is a wonderful thing, but the problem with one group forcing or coercing others with their faith is.....they can be wrong, can do horrible wrong actions in mistaken belief. There are good reasons we limit the involvement of religion and faith in public life. We need to remember the lessons of history.
As in medicine, the rule, 'first, do no harm' is a good guideline for the intersection of religion in the 'public square'. This is true as well to keep in mind when we look at the role of the fanatic anti-abortion faction waging culture war on women without regard to women's autonomy over their bodies or life choices. They lack the wisdom, and ignore the facts and science, in preference for faith, without regard to respecting the moral, ethical and religious choices of others.
