Dear Governor;
You have spent your entire term in office dividing people; it was your stated goal, to divide and conquer. People don't like it. The people who actually live in Wisconsin are wise to you being a paid puppet for outside special interests.
When it takes spending money at a ratio of 25 to 1 to win an election, it is not an election, it is an auction. When 3/4 of that 25 to 1 money is from a few large special interests with deep pockets from outside your state, who are expecting a payoff in return for that money, it is corrupt government, it is the take over of government by special interests for special interests using Republicans to do it.
What it is not is government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
You could not have won if you did not have that money. You needed that money to promote your lies.
You do NOT have a surplus. You simply pushed the debt for the state of Wisconsin down the road through slick and not very honest accounting measures. You put that debt on the backs of the next generation of tax payers. You actually had an unbalanced debt, not a surplus, and you made that debt much much larger.
You would not have won if you did not have the money to lie about your opponent. You would not have won if you did not have that money to lie about your record for job growth in the state of Wisconsin. Your record is abysmal. All that giveaway of money to corporate interests did not create jobs, and it did not create economic growth. It was nothing more than a redistribution of wealth to the wealthy.
You Governor will be lucky to make it through your term without being indicted from the ongoing John Doe investigations. You Governor Walker have a corrupt administration, and your performance in a prior executive capacity in Milwaukee was an unmitigated disaster. Your term as governor will be as bad, but on a much larger scale. You will go down in history as the worst Governor in your state, EVER, just as George W. Bush is going to be remembered as one of the worst Presidents in our national history.
No Governor, you are NOT going to mend your political divisions with brats and beer. And the reason you won't is that while you can be bought by special interests, your opposition cannot be bought, and it is an insult to think that anyone would trust you or work with you because you offer them brats and beer.
Abandon your current and past policies and they still won't trust you, but they might work with you. Abandon your backers, and you might get some respect - but not much. You're done Governor, even if you survived the election. It was a horribly large cost to keep you behind in the Governor's chair -- and that should be an embarrassment to you, not a cause for celebration. Your fellow Republicans are not going to do well in 2012, in significant part because of you Governor. Your remaining in office seems to have more to do with people disliking the recall process than any significant majority of people who approve of you or the job you are doing.
That is because you are corrupt, and you do not serve your state. Stop serving special interests Governor. Get clean. Get a conscience. Maybe you need to find religion, confess and make amends.
But you need to do something, and that has to be different. Brats and beer governor are not different enough to do what you need to do.
