There is NO, repeat, NO legitimate objection on the right to signing the Violence Against Women Act. They are once again standing up for abusive men trying to dominate and control women, including rapists. However much the GOP tries to pretend otherwise to themselves, the rest of us are very clear that they are misogynists who hate and fear sex, and who apparently feel the same about women.
Hypocritical bastards claiming to have 'values' - a claim they have to make because it is so obvious that they do not, the same way they deny any other inconvenient facts. Those that don't actively abuse women support those men who do so.

FYI : Representative Betty McCollum announced that H.R. 11 Violence Against Women Act reauthorization was introduced on Tuesday. The legislation already has 158 co-sponsors including Minnesotans Ellison and Nolan.
ReplyDeleteThe Senate also has started a bill with S. 5 and Senator Klobuchar is a co-sponsor.
The GOP has not offered any reauthorization yet ... they might be looking for a woman to offer it since the last time they gave the assignment to Sandy Adams but she lost in a primary and is not in the current Congress.
