There are a lot of members of Congress taking subsidies. Shame on them, for all of it. Shame on them especially for rejecting the proposed amendment to this bill which would, at the very least, stop members of congress from giving themselves tax payer's money. Every Republican member of Congress from Minnesota voted for this; every Democrat against it. At least two of those take large subsidies: Bachmann and Kline.
Remember ALL those occasions when you heard the right bemoan government picking winners and losers? Isn't that EXACTLY what they are doing with subsidies and special treatment programs?
GOP = Mega-hypocrites.
