FYI : According to the Railway Supply Institute, there are 94,000 DOT-111s used to transport crude and other flammable liquids. It estimates that some 39,000 DOT-111s are being used to carry crude, that leaves 55,000 carrying other flammable liquids.
The industry is hampered by Congress ... and the Republicans anti-Regulation Agenda. Hopefully, now that hearings are being held, they will quit obstructing.
