Next, but Not the Last

There will be another and another catastrophic climate event.  Global warming and climate change are real; they are proven by the larger patterns not by small individual events.  Sea levels are rising, and will compound the problems, but the problems are also droughts and fires an blizzards, as storms become larger and more damaging, and as events like droughts become longer and more severe.

  1. The water will drain away ... exposing the problems ...
remember the magnitude-5.8 earthquake on Aug. 23, 2011 in Eric Cantor's district ... well, in the next six months, the U.S. Geological Survey has reported 56 aftershocks with a magnitude greater than 2.0 for the same area of Virginia.

Eric Cantor, the Republican Majority Leader, flew back from Israel when the earthquake happened ... to announce that monies would not be coming from the Federal Government unless cuts were made in other programs ....
FYI ... one year later and the students in Louisa County still attend class in steel-and-wood trailers ... every Republican needs to tell us how they plan to pay for the sure-to-come Mother Nature event.

Oh, and by the way, let's just remember that John Kline and Michelle Bachmann voted against a transportation spending bill that funded the I-35W bridge replacement ... after it collapsed.
