So, it's November

Happy All Saint's Day (November 1st).

There aren't as many observances in November (other than U.S. Thanksgiving) as there were in October:

• Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month
• American Diabetes Month
• Lung Cancer Awareness Month
• National Homeless Youth Awareness Month
• Crohn's & Ulcerative Colitis Awareness Month
• National Pomegranate Month in the United States ^[2]
• International Drum Month
• National Stomach Cancer Awareness Month (United States)
• Epilepsy Awareness Month
• No Shave November
• Movember (a mustache growing charity event)

And a particularly favorite subject of mine - the third week of November is Geography Awareness Week.

The third Thursday is the Great American Smokeout, (a day to quit smoking) and International Philosophy Day.

And of course, despite mispeaking by Romney - our general election is November 6th (not 7th), which is this coming Tuesday.
