Red State, Blue State

  1. Hello Dog Gone,
As far as I am concerned, this graph sums it up very well. Good Job.

  2. I still find it bizarre that so many of the supporters in the red states are exactly the same people that Romney spoke about with such disdain as the 47%, not Obama supporters.

It is the fallacy of the right that those who they perceive to be the greatest recipients of government benefits of any kind are Obama supporters. They categorize all of the minority voters and somehow all of the women voters apparently, and many of the white Obama supporters as well as comprising the poor and disadvantaged.

The reality is quite different, that many of those who supported Obama are well educated, including in economics, and not only employed but employed in the middle and upper middle class or above that economic strata -- including all of the professionals who are of asian and african american and Hispanic ethnicity, and women as well who hold those jobs.

The right has badly, inaccurately defined who supported Obama and why. The Romney supporters on the other hand have failed utterly to accurately peg how badly the Republican leadership holds them in contempt and seeks to hurt them and their families.

It is just one more example of their alternate reality bubble, kept inflated by the hot air of Rush Limbaugh and the likes of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity-not-sanity or Glenn Boo-hoo Bullshit Beck.
