Every time we have had tax systems and other legislation that favors the rich to get richer. We have laws for example which now do not allow shareholders in corporations to limit executive compensation, which has increased exponentially. We have LESS accountability and less fairness in compensation for those who are labor AND management below the 'C-class' of executives - CEOs, CFO's, etc. That kind of concentration of wealth has never been healthy for our economy, for growth, for innovation and new business.
In trying to undo minimum wage, to undo that is illegal to pay women less for the same work, and in all of the other ways that the right has been unfair to labor and the middle class, they hurt EVERYONE. These are policies which are the killers of the American Dream.
Class warfare by the rich is endemic and systemic in the Republican party. Our founding fathers opposed that class warfare by the rich against the 99%.
