Romney is Profoundly Unprofessional, and NOT at all Presidential
We can't afford another Republican blooper reel Presidency.

If anyone was unconvinced before this that Romney is too easily stampeded by the right wing media and other influences, that he is not himself a strong man who makes decisive choices, it is demonstrated with this latest offensive gaffe by Romney.

This is the same man who incorrectly identified Russia as the most dangerous, most serious geopolitical threat to our nation. The attacks in the middle east, and our problems in Afghanistan clearly argue otherwise. Romney is perhaps even more inept on foreign policy, and on economic policy as well, than Sarah Palin, a popsie who has indelibly made her reputation for stupid, ignorant, and foolish.  Sarah Palin is functionally uneducated; Romney does not have that excuse for HIS repeated mistakes.

Remember this? Want to do it all over again, only maybe worse this time?

File:Bush mission accomplished.jpg

We neither need nor want another overconfident ignorant leader who gets things wrong, way too often, and who relies on lying about what happened to try to excuse the mistakes of his administration.

Those who don't learn from history repeat the mistakes. Romney is a repetition of the mistakes, multiplied. Instead of Iraq, he is looking for a pretense to attack Iran. Other than a few letters in the name of the country, and a slight difference in geography, the attitude, the mistaken intent is exactly the same as Bush's foreign failures. We are FINALLY, under Obama's diplomacy, undoing the terrible damage done by the previous administration to our international standing, and to our relationships with our allies. Let's not blow that up again too.

  1. First, Romney is not less informed on foreign policy than Palin. That's an exageration. Palin was less informed than my dog is on foreign policy and Mitt Romney is a quite learned man.

That said, describing Russia as our most serious geo-political threat is sabre-rattling poppey-cock. He did so because Russia is a. reverting to totalitarianism (so much for the "cure-all" of capitalism), b. friendly with Arab states in the middle-east (especially Sryia) and c. he can't speak the truth about China.

Russia pisses off the Israelis, and Romney is nothing if not a toady for pro-Israeli lobbyists. He talks about attacking Iran - because God knows we need another morrasse (sic) in the middle-east, and he TALKED about invading Syria (while in the same breath blaming Obama for getting involved in Lybia).

Romney is too cowardly to criticize China. There is NO question whatsoever, no one with any credibility at all says anything other than - China is our number one international adversary. They are beligerent, they are confrontational, they are building massive amounts of military muscle, and they INTEND to become the world's leading superpower, including dominating the world economic stage. We've (our business leaders especially) have been complicit in giving them funds to build their infrastructure. Romney CAN'T say this in part because he wants to ensure we (our businesses) continue to be able to trade in a manner friendly to those businesses, with China - no matter the impact to US workers, and b. if he were to EVER speak the truth on this point - he'd be indicting himself as having slit the US' throat through his own negligence.

He is a foreign policy coward and boot-licking lackey, but not a fool.
