I've been a BETTER person since becoming an atheist. Other people's "believing"? It does not bother me that they believe; other people condemning me or trying to "help me" BECAUSE OF their beliefs bother the shit out of me.
I read somewhere recently that someone said that even chrisitians were mostly atheist. The premise was based on there being several thousand deities identified over the millenia (the number was was 2,780, IIRC). Christians believe in the ONE TRUE GOD--so they don't believe in 2,779 gods. Atheists don't believe in 2,780--just one more.
