Elections have consequences; so do votes.
I sincerely hope that for those members of Congress who voted against either one of these bills, or both, that they are held accountable in the next election cycle, and that it comes back to bite them in their right wing backsides.
Is there ANY further proof required that the GOP serves ONLY their special corporate interests, instead of real people or that they vote consistently AGAINST the interests of most Americans?
These votes are consistently along party lines; they are NOT bi-partisan votes, they are not votes based on any reasonable foundation for voting no.
Republicans, by their actions show they support job outsourcing, and that they do not support disabled Americans, whom they ridicule as moochers and takers. Republicans, by their actions, show they do not support disabled veterans either, who would especially benefit while traveling from the ratification of the UN effort to make the U.S. standard the world standard in respecting the disabled. The GOP doesn't, apparently, respect the disabled, anywhere. The GOP doesn't want U.S. jobs either.
