One of the arguments heard from McDonalds and other fast notraeallyfood chains is that by keeping wages low they are able to offer many more young people an opportunity--an opportunity to have a job with crazy hours, no security and a shitty future. They all have to be going batshit about NJ's voters passing a referendum to raise its minimum wage to $8.25/hr with annual COL increases--after that bloviating blimp of a governor, Chris Christie vetoed a bill passed by the lege to do pretty much the same thing.
