The Republican Vagina Parody - Women Push Back Against the Male Republican Culture Wars

Ya gotta love it; ya gotta laugh. Except that the reality is that Republicans are scary, not funny; by scary, I mean controlling, corrupt, and coercive.

There is nothing quite as creepy as the religious righty, patriarchal, fanatical women-dominating, women oppressing, sex fearing , mysoginistic Republicans (and other conservatives).

Here's a little 'bumper sticker' for the GOP and their Tea Party extremist bretheren - ->:

And here's another one for all the vaginal probe, anti-abortion, anti-contraception, ignorance only sex ed mandating, pro-bullying anti-gay, medical misinformation requiring, doctor misinforming, right wingers as well:
<-------------

And lets not forget how unhappy women are with the right for defunding planned parenthood, one of the major providers of health care for women OTHER than abortion.  Or the repeal of legislation that helps us get closer to equal pay for equal work - the right is big on helping bad employers discriminate, including against women!  OR the failure of the right to vote in support of renewing the violence against women act.  That's the right, all right - pro violence against women (and other groups).  These are the same people who wanted to redefine rape so there would be no coverage if a woman wasn't beaten up badly enough -- to exclude statutory rape, rape where a woman is drugged or otherwise incapacitated, or merely threatened and  intimidated so aggressively that she capitulates --- yup, that's the kind of rape /Republicans want to define out of existence so as to damage women.  Damned misogynists!!!!

(I'm assuming the little dots are bullet holes, because while the right doesn't trust women, the trust and love anyone with a gun, especially old, white, flabby and crabby men who belong to the NRA.

  1. Oh Dog Gone!! Loved the clip!!! Great!!

That being said, I thought I would pass on this latest bit of news that it needs to be passed on!! This North Carolina’s “Amendment One” is legislation that not only represses women, but many others too.

There is great fear tomorrow that the majority of voters in North Carolina will institutionalize discrimination, prejudice, and hate in the state constitution with the expected passage of “Amendment One,” endorsed by Franklin Graham, and his distinguished father, the Reverend Billy Graham. Both should be totally ashamed of themselves!

I remember well here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland the signs of “White Only and Black Only” over the doors of bathrooms, water fountains, and such…..and as late as 1972.

As I have now gone into my 6th decade, I cannot believe the regressive slide “Back To The Good O’l Days” we as a nation have seen here of late. “You Can Tell We Are Christians By Our LOVE” Franklin Graham’s version must exclude anyone who does not fit into his looks, accents, and Social NIHILISMS!!

As Reverend Billy Graham was once considered a “Good Christian Man of GOD,” this latest “Coming to Political Light of institutionalize discrimination, prejudice, and hate,” one has to ask themselves what Little Frankie heard in the privacy of their home when the “Evangelical TV Cameras” were turned off.

I thought this was all done and settled in the 1960’s. Where I thought we as a nation had come so far with regards to the enlightenment and treatment of our fellow American country men, those whom stepped up to defend and support our country, that we as a nation would even consider much less allow the repressive laws solely directed towards others. How did we regress back to this point? What a sad statement for the legislators of North Carolina.

Let’s just not point at North Carolina alone because if this “Amendment One” does succeed, there will be plenty of other States willing to assimilate with more of their own such laws.

One would think we were beyond this in the 21st century, and that we should NOT allow the ignorance of people to become law! It is shameful to let people VOTE on basic human rights. When it comes to personal human rights, there should NOT be any vote, as those personal human rights should be guaranteed in the “land of the free and the home of the brave.”

The fact in today’s time, we are having a vote on whether people should be denied the right to vote; blacks should be segregated; job discrimination of others should be reinstituted; workers should be denied collective bargaining; and many other social advancements where Americans gave their “blood, sweat and tears” for; and then the possible threat that the masses would vote to deny those basic rights.

This is not what a democracy is about, to allow prejudice, hate, and discrimination to rule the day!

Today Dog Gone, I truly feel that I have woken up IN a bad dream of some Bizzaro World!!

I’m now going to play the clip again right now. Keep up the good work.

  2. Frankie Graham is a terrible representative of Christianity, and I have some problems with his father as well. We have one of these amendments coming up in Minnesota which I hope will be defeated.

More likely is that this will be overturned at the federal level; I pray daily for the success of the two attorneys who have done so well fighting prop8 out in California. (hmmm might be time to update that controversy / conflict).

There are far too many homophobes out there pushing stuff like this. I well remember traveling in the south, from the time I was a little kid on up to adult hood, and seeing those same signs you describe long after such segregation signs were supposed to be illegal.

The right wing, especially the far right wing, including segments of the religious right - God save us from the fundies! - are trying to go back to the bad old days of the 1920s era Scope's 'Monkey Trial' laws, Jim Crow laws, and the laws that Margaret Sanger fought so successfully.

They are vile, evil, horrible backward people with hateful ideas and vicious values.

  3. It is not an accident that a recent poll found significant percentages of conservative white southerners opposed legal marriage between people of different races.

That must really give them cause to hate Obama, in their minds; he's not just a black president who clearly doesn't appreciate his appropriate subordinate place (in their eyes) he is a bi-racial president who has reached the pinnacle of success as a man in this country.

  4. "endorsed by Franklin Graham, and his distinguished father, the Reverend Billy Graham. Both should be totally ashamed of themselves!"

The Graham's pere and fils are scum. Billy Ghraham and his family are grifters, no different than the rest of the snakeoil salesmen except that they are far smoother. Religion is an mental illness.

  5. What goes on in a bedroom — including nothing — is none of our business. I've found Gay people to be much more HUMAN than most (definitely not all) of us — they have to know themselves well enough to deal with the prevailing culture, both as it encourages them to be interested in the other sex and as it judges them if they find they're different.

I harken back to the beatles:
What the World needs now is Love, Sweet Love!
