whine whine whine whine whine whine whine whine whine snivel snivel choke and gasp
The right is in their own fact-free bubble, out of touch with objective reality. They see themselves as victims -- that is the perfect demonstration of why they are whining, or lamenting - a dressed up word that gives jerks and jackasses like O'Reilly, like Limbaugh, and worse, more dignity to what they do than it deserves.
The ads portraying Romney as a rich, out of touch, greedy vulture capitalist were pretty darned accurate, as his own post-election comments show. These were not statements unique to the left either. This was what the RIGHT said about him. Should we believe that it was true when the RIGHT said it -- and there was no similar objections coming from these same talking heads, because Romney was not perceived as far right as other primary candidates?
You can't fairly or reasonably say these things without damning the right, and expect to be taken seriously.
You cannot fairly or reasonably say these things, while failing to acknowledge the criticism is in fact quite fair and deserved, both about O'Reilly and his colleagues in the right wing media AND blogosphere. But it is absolutely true what was said of Romney, as well; that wasn't demonizing, and it was TAME compared to the crap promoted on Fox news, like the claims made by Glenn Beck that Barack Obama hates white people (in spite of being bi-racial, raised by his white family members). Pundits like O'Reilly cannot then be fairly or objectively critical of the left for saying something perfectly true. It is just one more example of their break with objective reality, and their own pandering to the worst and lowest common denominator of the right wing.

Mitt Romney, himself, was his own worst enemy. Paul Ryan was nearly as bad. They were criticized for those exact qualities identified by the right by Obama. It was not credible when those same figures that spoke critically about Romney then tried to promote him -- people rejected that flip flop by political figures on the right every bit as much as they accepted what was said about Romney by anyone else.
Look in the mirror O'Reilly, look around you on the right. I know, it's hard for you to do, but try reconnecting to the factual world for a change. And for GOD's Sake, cut out your "poor me - bad them" "I'm-the-victim" "they're unfair" whining. You look like a 6 foot plus tall old white balding man acting like a baby with a dirty diaper. It's your own poo, yours and your friends; quit wallowing in it, quit blaming anyone else for it, quit flinging it, and clean up your act.
