It is a sentiment shared by other extreme right wingers like Phyllis Schafley, who stated, “Sexual harassment on the job is not a problem for virtuous women”. This is part of the misogyny, the bad treatment of women, including blaming victims for the bad conduct of men, that produced feminism. It is also an example of the simplistic thinking of old white male conservatives (and some old white women conservatives) of privilege.
