The right can piss and moan and wail and gnash their teeth (or dentures, since most are old, white, flabby and crabby and male) about the main stream media; the reality is the right wing media, including the blogosphere is factually inaccurate, and will actually make their viewers and listeners and readers LESS informed than if they did not listen, view, or read any source for information.
It is not an accident that the GOP and the Tea Party are the party of Stupidity and Ignorance.
Fox News' credibility hits 'record low', finds poll
Washington, Feb. 7 (ANI): Fox News' credibility has fallen nine percent since three years ago, according to a new poll.
The annual Public Policy Polling (PPP) asked participants to rate their trust in multiple networks including Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, Comedy Central, ABC News, CBS News and NBC News.
The PPP found that Fox News has hit a record low in the four years as 41 percent of voters trust it as compared to 46 percent who do not.
To put those numbers into some perspective the first time the poll was conducted, in 2010, 49 percent of voters trusted it as compared to 37 percent who did not.
According to the Huffington Post, just like last year, researchers also found that Fox News is both the least trusted and most trusted network when compared to the other networks in the survey.
Nearly 34 percent said they trust Fox News the most, while 39 percent said they trust it the least.
Other news outlets are not entirely better off. Nearly 35 percent of respondents said they trust MSNBC, while 44 percent said they do not.
When it comes to CNN, 38 percent of voters said they trust the network, but 43 percent said they trust the cable network the least, the report said.
PBS is the only outlet that respondents trust more than distrust, with 52 percent of voters saying they trust the network, and 29 percent saying they do not, it added. (ANI)
