Senate Republicans tried to put a hold on the vote on Chuck Hagel for Secretary of the Department of Defense. Turns out Harry Reid can ignore those holds, and has chosen to ignore this one, as noted in this post from Addicting Info.
So now we are shy 2 votes, in the vote today.
And the Republicans are threatening to filibuster. Except for when they try to deny it is a filibuster.
We'll see if the Republicans can talk as long as they talk big, or if they will be singing a sad song in the end..
